The trials and tribulations of war and the ensuing suffering as seen through the eyes of an adolescent boy make this autobiography fascinating reading for anyone who cares for the innocence of childhood and basic human values.

Having thus awakened the wrath of the Gods he unwittingly exposes himself and his loved ones to the devastating effects of the mysterious curse of Cheju Island.
An arresting rendition of the psychology of love; uncontrollably driven by fate and human frailty. The book has a most unexpected, astounding ending and conveys a sobering message about a rare, but extremely severe moral problem.
