By Carlan on Sunday, April 22, 2007 - 1:19 pm:

Kundu, The earth is always evolving. It has been doing this for millions of years. It will keep doing it. The world is constantly rotating and rocking back and forth and up and down. It is moving at varying speeds and its relative distance from the sun and from the moon and from all things in outer space is always varying. These many variances cause hundreds of inconsistencies allowing the earth to constantly expand and contract due to inner and outer atmospheric temperature and pressure fluctuations and other small and large stress variances to occur. Stress points are always changing and these will cause more or less stress fractures to occur everywhere at some point in time nearly everywhere. These stresses will cause our earth to seeming move about and to undulate and to shake and buckle. Earth’s oceans are constantly ebbing and flowing with tremendous force and they will never stay in one place for very long and the earth's coastlines and islands and other landmasses will change along with that ocean's movement.

Earth will continue on for eternity, however, all other species of life may not. We as humans as a specie should last a very long time considering our capacity to evolve and to adapt but the simple fact is that if we do not adapt to all of earth’s very significant changes no matter what they should be; we are, as specie, simply doomed. That is not a good or bad thing to happen to us thousands of other species have become extinct and we may too someday that is simply all.

I think that we humans do cause some of earth’s shortcomings, however, I think some of those shortcomings are caused by many things that have nothing whatsoever to do with human kind but has everything to do with the natural and always evolving earth as the earth is to be. In other words, some things that we like to do something about or to fix or to seemingly correct we cannot do something about and we cannot fix it and we cannot correct it because they are out of our human capacity to do so.

We need to correct what we can and try to make things better for our own survival as well as the survival of all other living things but to spend too much of our time and our resources and our energy on trying to save the earth from the earth’s natural state of evolution is very foolish.

So, you live in a place fifty miles from your nearest neighbor that is a life of which I am unfamiliar. I’ve always had neighbors living nearly on top of me since I can remember. I doubt that I would care to live where you do because I like having my neighbors close even though I don’t particularly know them very well. But since I know no other life I think I would be very uncomfortable not having them and seeing them and hearing them close by. Perhaps, you can tell us some of the reasons why you like living where you do live, so much.

Ps. Sharbani Ranjan Kundu, this post is a little dated, however, I hope that you will see it and respond. Have a good day!

What does it matter. Who truely wants to live in this world as it is anyway? If you are lucky enough to have carved a corner for yourself in this world, where there is no war, violence, hatred, then good for you.

I have such a corner, it's called living in the mountains with no neibours for a 50 miles radius.

Hello all! I want to get into a discussion about the survivality of this earth in the context of high pitch human activities. How long will this earth survivive? Tsunami and the earthquakes in succession are indicative of, in my opinion, the impending doomsday. Technology, development, progress will hasten end of all life forms on this earth for may be millions of years again. Or could it be that the earth becomes a dead planet for all times? New viruses will surface or old ones will mutate to become deadly ones to wipe off the human and other animal population. Don't you think we should slow down. How many rockets will we send? How many cars we would manufacture? How many more humans will we feed? Or human beings would be produced like broiler chickens to be consumed by society? Slow down, human beings, slow down. Can infinite production activity go on out of substances dug from the finite dimensional earth?

What is the way forward for the world?

Majorly confused as to world behaviour but more so my own.

My love told me that I care more about those who I dont know, than people I Love, not to worry about things I have never seen. She never said dont feel for the thought, just understand the priority.

This make sense to me, so I probably brush the pain inside me to what happens outside of me and in my mind or more probably my heart the pain is satiated with balance of distantly close feelings.

Im hurt by the thought that I was not born into a world of my true dreams, a utopia with every time a hand let go of you another reach to replace the warmth and so life would go on. but this statement is probably true for me, it has happened all my life.

But I feel guilt because I have seen, with my own eyes the hurt and lonliness and loss of others, no radio no media, I have seen it and if my eyes are deceivers then fall into my hearts whom.

Far off in a distant land, my mind takes me, searching for answers, knowing them, and debating within my soul the right thing to do.

So far from me is the thought of having so much when others have so little, loving so much when others are so cold, being so cold and fruitless when others do some much naturally.

I want this world to truely change, I want this and I want that and I suffer all the desires of everything inside me, I do want to feel this way. Even if it drives me to madness or most likley has.

But I cannot lie to my inner soul, or no, know techincal, me.

And sometimes I feel religious, sometimes I wander in into that realm of differences with a name that has understanding. RELIGION, Sounds relay , reach , reverbert, sounds like - difficult, makes it hard for all religions when words dont really matter when versed against what u feel.

sorry I did not discern your post about the fog.. (sounds like a 'grey out'). Weather wise its such a day here, and such a relief, we have had blistering hot winds that seared into my flesh.

Sorry I missed it. Its the struggle that counts, the vallour you show.

Congratulations to those New Zealanders.. a glorious landscape (they say the extras in the film comprise about 1% of the population).. if tears were trophies then it was crowned.

I am told Tolkien was a Catholic, and as such intended to focus not so much about the might of the warrior (though probably the film does).. but on the resilient spirit that cannot be defeated by the darkness it encounters.

Endure the fog and hold on to that which is precious within you.

By mysticsdream on Monday, February 23, 2004 - 8:03 am:

sorry my previopus post should have been elsewhere.

All of us, hopefully you will use that handle, its hard to pick one anonymous from another.

You sounded down, well older and weaker, with less energy to invest in causes. I hope you have found that a passing thing.

It was your phrase 'we thrive on what we feel' which caught my interest. I do not have a neat answer, (and none is needed).

Last night I eventually saw the third episode of Lord of The Rings.. and found myself weeping for much of its last thirty minutes.. the ending being long and drawn out. My feeling, compassion joy.. something around there... the writer had conneyed the great struggle, and hope that unity brings victory. I must admit my favourite character was Sam.

I wanted to control those feelings that brought tears. They (tears) are never comfortable in public. I'm such a sook. Did you say we are what we feel?

It made me think, yes feelings make us human. Some feelings may need more management than others. The earth and natural things still have a capactity to generate awe and wonder. Inspiration is still present in a rain shower, a shard of sunlight, a flower, a bird on the breeze, a noble act, the warm acceptance of a friend, the look of a mother, the leaves falling, the song of a cricket, the persistance of an ant. The world is alive with inspiration and sometimes our eyes become fogged and we cannot see. Or perhaps we become too pre-occupied with other feelings or challenges we struggle to put in their place. Some challenges for us are daily, and we don't feel the same power to overcome them, we just know them as our constant companion. Others are brief moments like clouds passing over the sun, even a period of grey days.

I'm learning to appreciate the wind and the different weather it carries within itself. I am sure many mystics have marvelled at its creative breath over time... (eg the creation myth in Genesis.. God breaths and the wind blows, and that breath is life.)

Maybe we are never too old to marvel at what is good and beautiful, this touch of opportunity for wonder pops up in the strangest places..

What I wanted to say most was this. I took a lot of things from Scott Pecks The Road Less Travelled. It was a best seller a generation ago. One of his points is that 'feelings are our slaves'... they are there to help us, if we master them they work for us. I have followed this adage, rather than being controlled by feeelings, its better to control the feelings.

Yet sometimes they rebel.. damn those tears in the soppy scenes!!!!! Feelings break free, they want to be expressed, (OK but hold back those embarassing tears). Well I still agree feelings are meant to work for us... (maybe they have a weekend or vacation sometimes too).

I guess you made me think that as well as controlling them, and expressing them creatively, we need also to identify them. Its strange but when the world is mirky, shadowy, unsettled, turbulent, we may not identify the feelings within us. They are different feelings, maybe some we haven't used in a while. Feelings like despair, hopelessness, defeat, tiredness, or anger, confusion, pain, irritability even vulnerability. Sometimes deep within us a child wants its mother to hold it close. Unless we identify these feelings they pass before our eyes, and colour and confuse what we see. They send data do our brain... which begins to labour to interpret.
We might begin receiving messages back .. beware, defend, do nothing, don't even listen, ('they know nothing'' "they" are not like me' they this- they that, give up, abandon hope, pay back, revenge, destroy, hate.

These become our feelings too. And thanks to your thought I learned again that to effectively manage the feelings, I need to be able to discern them.

And today I could see... its not just about control of slaves, its about management, and working with. Feelings (and gifts) not only need to be recognised they may need to be nurtured in managing self.

Imagine all the people....

Those words should have been in all bibles, as is, I do think they are, but it takes a long time of study to understand that is what all religions mean.

I think the reason why it might have been made so difficult is because there is a belief that without struggle there is no appreciation. Without deprivation there is no salvation or understanding of it. Without hunger there is no feeling, for food.

We thrive on what we feel. It rules all of us.

Without feelings, there is nothingness.

Somehow a twisted sense of reality appears to be the only way to have understanding of things. We may discuss this, we may discuss that.

We, from one extreme, pick a single topic and discuss with our opinion and without further comment, understand that there maybe another opinion of equal validity. In this there is merit.

We, from the other extreme, pick a single topic and take the life of another who does not agree with our opinion. War, an excuse to group people in the name of murder of another group of people. Pity is, the vast majority in the first group are as innocent as the vast majority in the second group, both entwined. A slow seed to divide, but it has been known to work, quite well.

Its getting late now for me, I'm not dreaming as much as I used to. I'm getting more frustrated with myself because I think or have thoughts about such wonderful places. What a wonderful world this could be...

Those type of things, cannot be bettered by my words, once spoken or written we are all privileged to have heard, read or seen them, and even better again to have understand them, someones inner thoughts and the dreams about why they wrote them.

I feel much older than I am, I am much weaker than I should be. There is no one to blame for they way I feel, there is no excuse for me to think this way, I just do.

I guess I feel a very heavy sense of guilt about myself because I would want to be so much better than I am. I guess deep inside I know I could be so much better than I am, but I am not.

Anyways, I wish always.

Merry Christmas to All of U.

Seasons Change People Too

As the summer sun rescinds in the sky
A cool brisk wind breeze by

The hazy days and nights of summer has past
The mild and gentleness of autumn is here at last

The changing of the environment is near
Truly lets you know autumn is here

The quietness that will rest upon the earth
The slumbering of plants, animals and trees
Awaits a new birth

They naturally know
That winter is near
So preparation is needed
Before winter gets here

The plants will all wither
Until all are out of sight
The leaves on the trees will change colors
Before their plight

The animals will scatter to a shelter
So seclusive and warm
To protect them from the winter storms

But what about people during this time
They make changes in their hearts and minds

Though knowing what they all must do
To survive the seasons changes too

Not only do their prosperity needs securing
Sustenance and relationships needs enduring

For when those cool autumn nights
Caress the soul
A warm and loving companion is needed
I?ve been told

To cuddle together
On those cool autumn nights
Makes you feel quite all right

By the time those winter months get here
The warm and loving experience of autumn
Will help you to fare

It?s amazing about time and space
It?s amazing where importance
In people lives are placed

It?s not at all trivial about the seasons change
Because new life flourish through once again

As for people through the seasons
They change too
The difference is not knowing
What to expect, it?s true

For in summer you expect
Hot summer days
Yet spring time flowers blossoms
Come what may

In autumn you expect, the leaves
To fall to the ground
And winter you expect
The cold weather to be around

Oh yes people change
Like the seasons too
But there?s no stability
As to what they will do

The seasons change
To benefit the earth and us
Yet people change
And will sweep you away like dust

Not everyone do as this
But it?s far and few
Who won?t meet this list

Oh yes people change
Like the seasons too
But to benefit self
Not as the seasons do

New York Code Orange Jaisini new art series

The creativity of Jaisini is not designed to be preaching or too critical. Paul Jaisini reached his level of mastership to know exactly that life is worth living to look in the future having no regrets about the past.

In the aftermath of sept 11 there was a motto for New Yorkers to go on living and conducting business as usual in order to fight the very concept of terrorism, fear. And being cosmopolitan as Londoners or people of world greatest cities New Yorkers prove to be hard to scare.

The spirit of a great city is reflected in the cutting edge works of Jaisini. There is a given subject and a special atmosphere but to Jaisini it would not fulfil his artistic ambition to simply record the rubble and destruction.

Every picture dedicated to NYC in code orange is a mini scenario for a performance with different characters, roles, subtexts and screenplays. Every character in Jaisini's visual rendition of NYC in code orange is usually a typical New Yorker conducting daily life and encountering an unusual situation as viewed by the art director who came up with his own vision of what life could be like in a city that is no longer troubled.

To create such visual scenarios technically, Jaisini had to work with photos as he would with oil paintings or watercolors i.e. manually and without any automatic options, as this would reduce the degree of realism he aimed to achieve through the control of light and pictorial depth.

Perhaps what has been created in the New York series is a glimpse of what New York streets could look like in a futuristic utopia with perpetually developing scenarios of human life.

Jaisini shows that unlimited potential exists in a snap shot of contemporary life. That is why Jaisini's art works are highly demanded and anticipated.

Al you make some good points.. was wondering how serious you were about if God is in everything how does he/she feel about war.

Seems to be enough evidence the 'he' side saw plagues and invasions, occupations etc as consequences of religious infidelity. Probably the 'she' side suffers with the victims and sees the craziness in destructivity. Even today the language of Jihad etc is filled with a macho understanding of a belligerent God.

But if you were to ask me how God feels.. torn, pained, wounded, disapppointed... yet also patient, forgiving, gracious and creative.

Perhaps there is a sense that we learn more out of crisis.

Imagination? Hmm, I would say that it is the ability of the brain to think about something, anything that the mind finds to be interesting at the moment. It could be real or fantasy or a combination of the two. I believe everyone has it, too. I think everyone uses it to accomplish many of the deeds that are required of them each day. Of course, the use of it does not always cause us to be happy, in fact, it can and does cause us much unhappiness and untold misery. It can make us to feel contentment and agreeableness, but it too can cause us much overstrained anxiety. It (imagination) can carry us on the wings of angels, or can bury us in the bitter fires of hell.

Imagination must be controlled by us and it cannot be allowed to control us, if our imagination is allowed to overcome our constraints (all things real) on it; it will remove us from reality altogether and we will find ourselves in an institution for the mentally insane. Imagine, that!

Deep Inside.

Deep deep deep, inside.

Acceptance that there will always be hate, acceptance of the things in this world that we don't want.

We are all different but we are all the same, again an old record playing, the things we all desire are the same. Name one who deeply wants just to hurt? not one of us, not any single one.

So we answer those who accept defeat by only there own hearts as to live with acceptance of racism, sexism, religion, money, and our short failings as being the simple, not complex people we are. We don't want to be but you are.

So the grave will come, and all follow its path. Some, with dread, some with wonder, some with regret, some with just a smile, a little one.

People, places, minds, thoughts, words and whispers.

Sing upon a star,
Watch upon a bar,
See the dreams inside of u,
Fall from the sky and back u,
will go again.

All of us.
