View Full Version : Christians: If your god gave you the power, who would you torture forever?
Samurai Jack 06-21-2007, 08:55 PM Your god would give you that personal power, but you would have to be responsible for it and confirm the torture of that person...not for a day, or a week, or a month, or a year...but forever. So, who would you choose to torture?interesting answers.greg m - no it's not.You can obviously say "nobody".That leaves you with the dichotomy of worshipping a god who performs an action which you personally find abhorant, but that's religion.RIF - don't give up so easily. That's a cowards way out.
julia m 06-22-2007, 02:14 AM Satan! I'd be like that's for torturing me for eternity in the lake of fire you ba$tard!
John W 06-22-2007, 03:24 AM I would give that power right back to G-d and let him decide.
crimmsonandclover 06-22-2007, 04:20 AM Torture no one...Ignopring and isolating people is the biggest torture thing you can do..People hate being ignored.
Fokkerball 06-22-2007, 10:55 AM Cool question dude. I could never torture anyone forever but I'd like to let child molesters feel some pain for a while.
lilmissykato 06-22-2007, 12:00 PM No one, but can I beat the crap out of pig farmers? breaking pigs legs, beating them with metal bars, sick freaks
Miriam 06-22-2007, 03:01 PM never. I would not want to torture and one and it is a silly question.
Oregon Flower 06-22-2007, 03:55 PM Get a life, you're wasting the one you presently have.
ahedou 06-22-2007, 05:55 PM What's the deal about the pig farmer being mentioned?
southernmale42 06-22-2007, 07:14 PM I don't have the time line and patience that My lord has, so, I would punish Satan RIGHT NOW til forever!!!! But, his time is coming soon......Thanks and have a great day!
greg m 06-22-2007, 08:36 PM Hmmmm, you need to work on that one some more buddy! That's like asking "did you ever stop beating your wife?". If I say 'yes', that means I DID used to beat my wife. If I say 'no', that means I STILL beat my wife!Your question is aimed at starting an argument, and nothing else.

Lover of Bible truth 06-23-2007, 03:47 AM If I had that power, I would prove that I was loving and caring and I would never think of torturing or tormenting anyone. The only punishment I would impose on imperfect humans, is that they would lose the right to live forever, with no hope of a resurrection. This would only be imposed after I gave them a second chance to prove themselves faithful and to see if they were able to accept righteous laws and regulations . I would give them 1,000 years to do this and allow them to live here on earth under wonderful conditions, where sickness, pain, crime, old age and even death would be no more. Then if after all that time, they decided they did not want to conform to righteous standards---then I would simply put them out of existence instantly, with no pain inflicted upon them at all.Fortunately we all have a Creator who feels the same way, and this is exactly what he will do for all those who are sleeping in death.
